Rowrah race report - Round 4
Round 4 of the Cool Fab-Racing championship at Rowrah :
It all started on Thursday with an extra day of practice which went really well as Ryan loves the track , he was on pace from the start and totally enjoyed it, thank to Simon Mounsey who organised a great day and Ryan winning best elbow down of the day . Ryan loved the extra track time on the GP50 and has been getting to grips with his breaking … well done Ryan
Friday Practise :
Ryan went well from the start and was always in the top 5 all afternoon on the LC40 mini moto . In the GP50 class Ryan made steady progress all day
LC40 ELITE : Qualifying :
Ryan really stepped up the pace and it showed as some other riders were using Ryan as a marker to improve their times which it did and Ryan took it as a compliment and Ryan qualified in 4th …. well done Ryan amazing speed in and out of the corners .
MINI GP50 :
After a steady improvement in his riding , Ryan qualified in 16th but his lap times were coming down all the time which is great , He is slowly getting used to the front end dipping whilst breaking , the bike still has no torque not like the other bikes but he's using it just to practise this year as its not competitive down the straights but his corner speed is amazing and keeps up with the others .
Mini Moto LC40 Elite :
RACE 1 : 4TH changed gearing after race as he was pipped on the last lap down the straight after being in 3rd place for 7 and a half laps , he was gutted and went faster in race 2 .
RACE 2 : 3RD Ryan was so happy ,video of him waving to the crowed , shaking arms and legs in sheer joy and hugging his dad and a great emotional 3rd place win ….will upload later in the week on his website .
RACE 3 : 10TH But crashed out of 2nd place chasing Cassey the race winner , took ages for someone to get to him as he couldn't push his handle bars back as it was a fast corner crash, ended up in 18th out of 24 riders fought back to 10th .
Ryan finished 3rd overall for the weekend and well deserved as he was on fire all weekend …. well done Ryan , a great birthday present for your dad ….happy birthday dean .
Mini GP50 :
RACE 1: 16TH
RACE 2 : 15TH
RACE 3 : 12TH
Ryan was happy and came back with a smile on his face as he knew he improved so much over the last few days , he hates being last but he knows he is improving all the time …. well done Ryan .
We would like to say a massive thank you to Sarah Harris for all your help and encouragement over the weekend we really appreciate it . We would also like to thank all of Ryan's sponsors and supporters for your continued support and help :
