Round 1 Cool Fab-Racing championship

Llandow Race report :

Inclement weather for most of Friday and Saturday , made for a dull wet start for our 2018 opening round .Ryan couldn't wait to get out on his bikes and hadn't rode them in ages , he had only been on his GP 50 four times previously. This is Ryan's learning year and he is under no pressure , we want him to get to grips with the GP 50 ,learn the gears , tracks and be confident on it as the majority of riders have been riding them for over a year .

Ryan qualified 9th for the 3 races and its super competitive with 23 kids on the grid.

RACE 1 : 6th

RACE 2 : 7th

RACE 3 : 7th

Giving Ryan 28 points and 6th overall for the weekend , his lap times improved every session over the weekend but also highlighted that Ryan has to dig deeper to keep up and race with the faster kids, but he always try's his best but needs more bike time like the others but with limited funds we find this difficult .

MINI GP 50 :

This class has got so big from previous years and now is very competitive with 20 riders ,But as this is Ryan's first year on a gear boxed bike this will be his learning year and don't mind where he finishes , all we want him to do is have fun and get confident on it . Ryan managed to qualify 11th but sadly lost a lot of places due to his race starts (had never done one until the weekend) and on race 2 ended up dead last .

RACE 1 : 13th

RACE 2 : 15th

RACE 3 : 13th

Ryan did so much better than we expected and finished 15th overall with 7 points on race 1 falling back to 20th to work his way back up 13th was great , he is so smooth and his racing style is great , Ryan improved his lap times amazingly over the weekend from riding round in 103.847 to finishing in the 55.929 which was awesome considering he had only rode the bike 4 times . Well done Ryan super proud parents and couldn't ask for more
